Free String of Pearls Crochet Pattern

Meet the String of Pearls succulent- one of the coolest plants nature has to offer! When I first decided to create a Succulents Collection, I knew that I wanted to include the String of Pearls plant. They’re so cute and interesting and I thought that putting one on my shelf would look great.

This was one of my favourite patterns to make because it’s so easy and quick. You can also work these strings up in different colours and lengths to create cool hanging decor, so I’ll definitely be making more of these for future projects.

The String of Pearls succulent looks best by itself in a terracotta pot instead of in a terrarium with other plants. You can find the free soil plush pattern here.

If you would like to show your support, please consider purchasing the Succulents Collection from the shop! It comes with 6 patterns (including this one) in a printer-friendly PDF file.

*Note: I worked in continuous rounds (vs. joined rounds) unless otherwise stated.

When all the strands have been thread through the soil, place the soil back into the terracotta pot.

Congrats! You have just finished your very own String of Pearls succulent! This plant looks great when placed on a shelf or on the corner of a table. To make a fuller looking string of pearls succulent, all you have to do is create more strings.
